Request account deletion

If you no longer have AutoStant installed, or you would rather not do this in the app, you can ask us to delete your account directly.

Send a deletion request from the email address on your AutoStant account to [TO BE SUPPLIED — A monitored support address or form that users and store reviewers can actually reach.]. Say that you want your account deleted. We will verify that the request comes from the account holder before deleting anything — deleting an account on an unverified request would let anyone delete anyone else’s.

App Store Connect requires a working support URL, and Google Play requires a reachable deletion request pathway.

Delete it yourself, in the app

This is immediate and needs no one’s help:

Open AutoStant and go to Profile.
Open Account.
Choose Delete account.
If you signed in with a password, confirm it. If you signed in with Google or Apple, there is no password to confirm.
Confirm. The account is deleted straight away.

What gets deleted

Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. There is no grace period and no recovery window. If you want a copy of anything, export it before you delete the account.

The following are removed:

Your account, your email address and your stored credentials.
Your Master Resume — both the structured content and the uploaded file itself.
Every tailored resume and cover letter generated for you.
Every captured job, application and ATS analysis.
Your saved application answers and your usage records.
Your subscription and transaction records held by AutoStant.

Any device you are signed in on is signed out immediately, because every request re-checks the account it belongs to.

Demographic answers you chose to save are held only on your phone, never on our servers. They are removed when you sign out, and you can delete them yourself at any time from Privacy in the app’s settings.

What is not deleted

Two things survive, and we would rather tell you than let you assume:

A record of what the app store told us about your purchases. We keep the subscription events sent to us by our billing provider, so there is a record of what was bought and refunded. The link to your account is removed, but the event still contains the account identifier the store used at the time, and the store’s original message.
Our billing provider’s own customer record. RevenueCat keeps its own record on its side. Deleting your AutoStant account does not delete that.

If you have a Pro subscription

Cancel your subscription first. Deleting your AutoStant account does not cancel an Apple or Google subscription, and it does not stop it renewing — those are managed by the store, not by us.

iPhone or iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → AutoStant → Cancel subscription.
Android: Google Play → your profile icon → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions → AutoStant → Cancel subscription.

Cancelling does not refund what you have already paid; refunds are handled by the store under its own policy.

When you delete your account we also ask Apple to revoke your Sign in with Apple authorisation, so AutoStant stops appearing under Settings → Sign in with Apple on your devices. If that request does not get through, your account here is still deleted, and you can revoke the authorisation yourself from that same screen.
