Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By creating an AutoStant account or using the app, you agree to these terms. The service is provided by [TO BE SUPPLIED — The legal or business entity that publishes AutoStant and is the data controller.]. If you do not agree, do not use AutoStant.

2. What AutoStant does

AutoStant is a job-application assistant. You keep one Master Resume in it. You capture job postings, and for each one AutoStant can score your fit, generate a tailored resume and a cover letter, propose answers to the application’s questions, fill those answers into the application form after you have reviewed them, and track the application afterwards.

AutoStant does not submit applications on your behalf without your review, and it is not an employment agency, a recruiter, or a party to anything between you and an employer.

3. Your account

• You must give accurate information when you create an account.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.
• One person, one account. Do not share it.

4. AI-generated content

Resumes, cover letters and suggested answers are produced by AI models. This has consequences you are agreeing to:

• Generated content can be wrong. It can misstate your experience, invent detail, or phrase something in a way you would not.
• You are responsible for what you send. AutoStant shows you every generated document and every proposed answer before anything is filled into a form. Reviewing it is your job, not an optional step.
• Accuracy to an employer is your responsibility. If a generated document overstates your experience and you submit it, that is a statement you made.
• Using AutoStant means your job and resume content is sent to third-party AI providers. See the Privacy Policy.

5. No employment outcome is promised

AutoStant does not guarantee interviews, offers, employment, or any particular result from an application. It does not claim to improve your chances by any measurable amount, and any ATS score it shows you is its own estimate of fit — not a prediction of what an employer’s system will do, and not a decision any employer has made.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use AutoStant to misrepresent your qualifications, identity or history.
• Upload a resume or personal information that is not yours to use.
• Attempt to bypass plan allowances, rate limits, or the abuse protections around AI usage.
• Use the service to submit applications in bulk in a way that violates an employer’s or job board’s own terms.
• Interfere with the service, or with other users’ use of it.

7. Plans and subscriptions

AutoStant has a Free plan and a paid Pro plan. Each has finite allowances, listed on the pricing section of the home page. Nothing in either plan is unlimited.

Pro is planned at:

• $9.99 per month, or
• $79.99 per year, billed annually.

The price you are actually charged is the one your store shows you at the time of purchase, in your own currency.

There is no free trial and no introductory offer on either plan, on either store.

A yearly Pro subscription is billed once a year. Its allowances still refill monthly — a year of Pro is twelve months of Pro, not a year’s worth of credits handed over on day one.

Billing and cancellation

• Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple or Google, not by us. This website takes no payment.
• They renew automatically until you cancel, through your Apple or Google account.
• Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep Pro until the period you have already paid for ends.
• Refunds are handled by the store you purchased from, under that store’s policy.

If we change what a plan includes or what it costs, we will say so before the change takes effect for you.

8. Content and intellectual property

Your resume, your job data and the documents AutoStant generates for you are yours. You keep them and you can export or delete them.

You grant us only the permission needed to run the service for you: to store your content, process it, send the relevant parts to the providers listed in the Privacy Policy, and return the results to you. We do not claim ownership of your content.

The AutoStant app, website, name and marks are ours, and these terms do not give you a licence to them beyond using the service.

9. Availability

AutoStant is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be available without interruption, and parts of it depend on third parties — AI providers, storage, the app stores — whose availability we do not control. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features.

10. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from inside the app; see Delete your account for what that removes. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms, or where we are required to.

11. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent the law allows, AutoStant is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost opportunities, or for the outcome of any job application.

Nothing here removes rights you have that cannot be removed by agreement, including consumer rights that apply where you live.
